As she looked out at the endless expanse of water, she wondered what would happen to her, to all of them. Would they ever be able to rebuild their homes and their lives? Would they be able to find a place to call their own, or would they be forced to wander the earth forever?

She thought about her grandfather, who had told her stories about the sea, about the creatures that lived beneath its surface.
